Marta Timmer (Blicharz) is a multidisciplinary visual artist and designer working in traditional and digital media. Some of the general themes and subjects that appear throughout her work include consumer culture, glitch aesthetic, personal identity, the subconscious and the search for the sublime.

Currently, Marta takes on all things creative at Wild Forest Inc., and teaches New Media at the University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus.

Her education includes an MFA (New Media) degree from the University of Lethbridge (2012), a Multimedia Production Diploma from Lethbridge College (2010), and a BFA (Photography) with Minor in Psychology from the University of Calgary (2006).

Marta has exhibited and presented locally and internationally, in solo and group contexts including in Toronto, Calgary, Lethbridge, Vancouver and Chicago. She is currently represented by DaDe Art & Design Lab in Calgary, Alberta.
