In 2013 I designed Bit Portal – the Gate & Grill Public Art Project for the City of Lethbridge, which consisted of two steel gate panels and a grill for the outdoor studio at the newly built CASA Community Art Centre. The design was fabricated and installed in May 2014.

The goal for this project was to create a design that provided shelter from the street, yet allowed pedestrians to peek at the activities in the studio. The final design features squares /pixels that serve as building blocks of visual experiences, symbolizing the coming together of different art genres under one roof.
